The Candid Conversation Season 2 Episode 7

The Candid Conversations Show Season 2 Episode 7 - Do or Die?

Get your tissues to laugh and cry! In this episode, I sit down with British actress, writer and giant Jo Martin.

Jo is also a childhood friend of mine, a sister of my wingman and aunt of two precious creatives that I have worked with.

So I in this too brief and candid conversation, we talk about:

⭐️ Jo's long and trailblazing career as an actress from Stratford East to the Royal Shakespeare Company to star in major Television programmes and films.

⭐️ Despite the financial struggle as a young actress having the determination to show up and do the work, she was called to do.

⭐️ Dealing with the loss of her mother and being cast as the first black doctor in Dr Who.

This episode is filled with laughter, tears, and so much inspiration, you will leave this episode feeling warm, light and motivated

Jo Martin a British actress and writer started her tv career on The Real McCoy a BBC Television sketch comedy, she also played Natalie Crouch in the BBC One sitcom The Crouches, she then joined the cast of Holby City as Max McGerry. and is currently an unknown incarnation of the Doctor in the BBC TV series Doctor Who.
