I trust you had a lovely Bank Holiday and are feeling a bit more relaxed with the lovely weather(finally).  Last week we left firely Aries and landed softly into May (I wonder how many of you experienced a very powerful April?).  We are now fully into Spring and the month of  May, which is named( in this Gregorian Calender) after the goddess Maia the goddess of growth, fertility and plants.  So in the spirit of this month I ask what seeds will you be tending to and planting in your life right now?

I feel a much easier energy around me now we have arrived in May, which may be due to the lovely energy that was present during my Women’s Sensual Immersion weekend on the 27th -28th April.  The workshop was very powerful and the participants really connected and moved through their process with trust, grace, humility and accountability.  When we chose ourselves above fear the miracles happen, and we can easily accept the cycles and situations come and go with wisdom.  Opening ourselves to the moment is one of the greatest gifts I learned being in Nature.

Full of surprises and endings left over from March good old April rides in with the promise of a new beginnings and Spring!  Along with the government’s new budgets, funding and benefit rules there is also hope of an improvement in life and work.   However with the sun in Fiery Aries there will be a cost for any improvements and new exciting beginnings.  If you break down the myth of  Aries the Ram (not to be confused with the god of war) He or she represents a Golden opportunity that first requires hard work ( in my opinion anyway).  As I researched the Ram I came across this information from gods-and-monsters  “Aries, the Ram, is a constellation of stars visible from earth that appear in what the Greeks thought to be the shape of a ram’s head. On my recent Geomancy  and Storytelling course  I witnessed the true natural cycles of death and rebirth over and over again such as old trees dying and new flowers coming up for the Spring.  In Nature’s presence and beautiful surroundings I  fought to let go of my own ’creature’ comforts.  I wanted to run back to the city to be with my friends, computer etc.  I did not want to be in the stillness of nature, why ? because I wanted to run away from my self and indulge in externals, and I did not want to feel my vulnerability as Carol Adrienne  in her book The Purpose of Your Life calls ‘the void’.   Eventually after much struggle I was able to  converse with Nature,   and  through this  conversation she reiterated the words she gave to me back in 2008  of the importance of recognising the  ‘Cycles of Death /Rebirth.

Everything has a cycle, and we cannot run from it as Lauren Hills says ‘Everything is Everything’.   I also realised  the interconnectedness of the earth and  how everything has its connected function  including us as hue mans (I will go into more later).   This can be relayed to people and experiences in our life  that come to us to teach, heal, initiate or guide us.

Holding onto and controlling a situation, cycle or good feeling prevents the natural cycle from completing in it own way,  so we have to have a balance of feeling positive and letting a cycle run its course.   Letting go is not easy however the key is to remember ‘after winter must come spring’, so let go and let the Creator move the process through to completion.

Welcome to my new Moon circle Logo !!

I decided that I needed my own image instead of using stock and other images what do you think?

I love her – she is abit Hippish but hey it is the Age of Aquarius.

The picture is influenced by my Balancing Chakras Through Art and Aromatherapy course which ends next week   However we have another one Starting on March 20th 2013 just in time for Spring.  There is a;so a short video about the course if you want to know more.

Keep it Creative!

It has been a very lazy January and I have been orchestrating my new online course Balancing Chakras using Aromatherapy and Art – Winter 2012/13.  This course has been amazing and phenomenal.  The work of the participants has been outstanding and very informative and there are a few Artists emerging already!  Revisiting the chakras in such a deep way has been really a strong support in my life.  I have been recording videos, creating meditation cd’s for the course  which has caused a subtle shift for me as the course leader.  Because I have been moving deeper into self-care since my retreat to Dominica in November 2012, I have stood more firmly in my own personal space and focusing on myself.  The beauty of an online course for me is that I have participants from as far as Chicago and New Orleans and I am so happy to connect with others from across the pond.  We are living in profound times because the internet enables us to connect with others all over the world, which brings a richer experience to life.

Physical community is still important and  I have found that I have rekindled my relationship with my neighborhood. I am now walking (weather permitting) and experiencing a new kind of adventure about the area I live in for example there are a few community gardens growing which is bringing all kinds of people together.  I wanted to leave my neighbourhood because I felt there was a lack of community, however through following my inner guidance to walk I found a rich community in front of me, (maybe I was willing to see properly).  When we want to leave a place, relationship, or job we must always bless that place for  the experiences and learning it brings us no matter how hard.  Stress is a big killer however learning the lesson and being grateful for that will help us move from a place without taking the negative experience with us to our new adventure.  This way we are running towards a goal rather than running from which creates another problem eventually.    The final let go is the one where we can shed the skin like the Water snake and say ‘Thank you’ .for all the trials, Thank you for the doubt this experience created, Thank you for being part of an experience that allowed me to grow.  Gratitude is the final let go – by holding on we realise that we do not trust that something, better will come along that will be more in alignment with us.  Rebirth is not easy however it is necessary for us to grow and move to greater things otherwise stagnation is a slow death that we do not see until it is too late.

I predict this period up until Spring will be dynamic but also challenging as we finally shed that skin.
